DoubleClick Bid Manager (DBM) and DoubleClick Campaign Manager (DCM) are a DSP and Adserver, respectively. Adjust can pass back data from your Adjust tracking, as well as attribute users for apps promoted via DCM-served creatives and/or DBM-bought impressions.

Activating the module
Activate the module by adding your auth token into the DoubleClick settings panel. You then send each event type (including installs, sessions, and reattributions) to DoubleClick by defining a corresponding floodlight in your DoubleClick UI. You can then export the floodlights from the DoubleClick UI, receiving a text file with a URL for each floodlight (like a pixel).
For example, to send installs, we first define an “install” floodlight. Download the floodlight from within your DoubleClick interface and extract the last URL in each floodlight - the text file may contain several. You are looking for URLs that look something like this:
You then want to extract the “cat”, “type”, and “src” parameters out of this URL (in this case the values
123456, respectively). These are the parameters that you add in your Adjust dashboard.
Once you have activated the DoubleClick module, you are ready to set up your campaigns using a URL leading directly to your app store page. If you want to track clicks for your DoubleClick campaigns, please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org.
As reattributions are automatically generated, you have the possibility to have them blocked via the Track Reattribution switch if you are not running any reattribution campaigns.
Linking in-app events
If you want to send in-app events to DoubleClick, please enter the Event Linking part and enter the corresponding “type” and “cat” parameters for each event that you want to link. It is also possible to send event Partner Parameters to DoubleClick. Please be aware that DoubleClick requires specific parameter names to accept event Partner Parameters:
ord, qty, cost, u1, ..., u100
ord: the unique order ID of sales event qty: the quantity of the sales event cost: the cost of the sales event u1, ..., u100: any other custom parameter

If you are experiencing reporting discrepancies between DoubleClick and Adjust, we recommend the following solutions:
- Make sure that your click and impression attribution windows are synced between Adjust and DoubleClick. Please check to ensure your attribution windows are aligned for both DoubleClick and Adjust. Note that Adjust uses a 7-day click window by default (which can be modified with Adjustable Attribution Windows). If you are are running impression campaigns with DoubleClick, then be sure to enable Impression Tracking in Adjust.
- Generate a DoubleClick report on invalid activity to determine if DoubleClick is incorrectly discarding events as spam.
