WiFi 万能钥匙 (WiFi Master) is a network partner.

Module partners can use additional and extended data from adjust, and have been integrated with a custom module in adjust's backend. This guide describes how to activate the WiFi 万能钥匙 (WiFi Master) module, as well as additional set up that may be required or beneficial.

To integrate WiFi 万能钥匙 (WiFi Master) with adjust, follow these steps:

  1. Activate the module by adding one or more tokens in the WiFi 万能钥匙 (WiFi Master) panel in your dashboard.
  2. Optionally, add event labels to your in-app events in your WiFi 万能钥匙 (WiFi Master) panel to send in-app events to WiFi 万能钥匙 (WiFi Master).
  3. Create a tracker for WiFi 万能钥匙 (WiFi Master), adding certain mandatory parameters, and use this as the destination of your ads.
  4. All set - adjust will transmit the requisite data to WiFi 万能钥匙 (WiFi Master).

1Activating the WiFi 万能钥匙 (WiFi Master) module

All settings related to WiFi 万能钥匙 (WiFi Master) can be found in your dashboard. Simply open your app settings and follow through to Partner Setup > Add Partners > WiFi 万能钥匙 (WiFi Master).

To activate the integration, enter your Client Id and Secret Key within this panel. You can find the required values in your WiFi 万能钥匙 (WiFi Master) dashboard.

Once activated, adjust will automatically start sending install and (when activated) event callbacks to WiFi 万能钥匙 (WiFi Master).

Please be aware that we will only send user data attributed to Wifi Master traffic.

1.1Forwarding events to WiFi 万能钥匙 (WiFi Master)

You can also choose to transmit in-app events to WiFi 万能钥匙 (WiFi Master). Each in-app event can be activated separately, so as to give you complete control of the data that you're sharing with your partners.

  1. Open the WiFi 万能钥匙 (WiFi Master) panel in your app settings.
  2. Select Event Linking and choose a label from the dropdown list for each event you want to transmit to WiFi 万能钥匙 (WiFi Master). This is the label that will be shown in their interface. You also have the option use the same label for multiple events. If you do decide on doing this, it will result in those events displaying as a single event type in the WiFi 万能钥匙 (WiFi Master) interface.
  3. As soon as you save these updated settings, adjust will start transmitting the in-app events that you have configured.

1.2List of parameters transmitted to WiFi 万能钥匙 (WiFi Master)

WiFi 万能钥匙 (WiFi Master) require certain parameters to be passed to them via their module. When you activate their module, the following parameters will be automatically transmitted.

  • Hashed device IDs
  • Timestamps

2Creating tracker URLs for WiFi 万能钥匙 (WiFi Master)

WiFi 万能钥匙 (WiFi Master) requires certain tracker parameters. These tracker parameters must be appended in order for adjust to attribute your WiFi 万能钥匙 (WiFi Master) traffic correctly, and for WiFi 万能钥匙 (WiFi Master) to correctly interpret the data being sent back to them from adjust. Follow these steps to set up a tracker URL for WiFi 万能钥匙 (WiFi Master):

  1. Create a tracker in your adjust dashboard, naming it as you like, e.g. "WiFi 万能钥匙 (WiFi Master)". The tracker URL will be created and added to your list of trackers.
  2. Copy the tracker URL using the "Copy URL" button on the right hand side, as you hover over your "WiFi 万能钥匙 (WiFi Master)" tracker.
  3. In a text editor, paste the URL. Add one of the following strings to the end of the URL, depending on the platform.

  4. Copy the URL and use it as the destination of any WiFi 万能钥匙 (WiFi Master) ads.

Due to restrictions from Wifi Master’s platform, they currently only support http:// protocol for server to server integrations; please update this when you insert the tracking url (start from http://app.adjust.com/...) in the Wifi Master dashboard. Additionally, if the Wifi Master module is on and other network agencies intend to run campaigns for the same app, please append following parameters on your tracking url:&wifimaster_clientid={wifi_clientid}&wifimaster_secretkey={wifi_secretkey}
