Amazon Mobile Ad Network is a special network partner.

Special partners can use additional and extended data from adjust, and have been integrated with a custom module in adjust's backend. This guide describes how to activate the Amazon Mobile Ad Network module, as well as additional set up that may be required or beneficial.

To integrate Amazon Mobile Ad Network with adjust, follow these steps:

  1. Activate the module by flicking a switch in the Amazon Mobile Ad Network panel in your dashboard.
  2. Create a tracker for Amazon Mobile Ad Network and use this as the destination of your ads.
  3. All set - adjust will transmit the requisite data to Amazon Mobile Ad Network.

1Activating the Amazon Mobile Ad Network module

All settings related to Amazon Mobile Ad Network can be found in your dashboard. Simply open your app settings and follow through to Partner Setup > Add Partners > Amazon Mobile Ad Network.

You can activate the Amazon Mobile Ad Network module simply by flicking the switch in your adjust dashboard. Amazon Mobile Ad Network will identify your app based on the bundle ID or store app ID that you've entered for your app.

Once activated, adjust will automatically start sending install and (when activated) event callbacks to Amazon Mobile Ad Network.

If you would like to send attributed-only traffic to Amazon, toggle the relevant switch – note that this toggle applies to all activities sent to Amazon. Specifically, Amazon identifies your app based on your app token, which you provide to them in the Media Plan.

Amazon Mobile Ad Network require certain parameters to be passed to them via their module. When you activate their module, the following parameters will be automatically transmitted.

  • Referrer values
  • OS name and versions
  • Raw device IDs
  • Amazon Fire advertising ID
  • Timestamps
  • User agents
  • App metadata
  • Impression Based flag
  • Internet Service Provider
  • Locale
  • Country
  • All partner parameters (if you activate them)
  • Random number

2Creating tracker URLs for Amazon Mobile Ad Network

Amazon Mobile Ad Network is a Kudos partner. Kudos partners automatically recognize adjust trackers when you enter them into the their systems - so with Amazon Mobile Ad Network, just create a tracker and set it as the destination of your ads. The rest will be handled automatically.

Amazon automatically appends some parameters to your tracker URL when you add an adjust tracker into their interface. You can also add Campaign Structure Parameters onto the tracker before you provide it to Amazon, using one of their campaign macros: __CS_CAMPAIGN_NAME__, meaning Amazon Campaign ID & Name; __CS_AD_NAME__, Amazon Ad ID & Name; __AAX_SOURCE_NAME__, Amazon Publisher Group; __AAX_SITE_NAME__, Amazon Publisher; and / or __CS_AD_SIZE__, size of the creative.
